Wednesday Nights
Breakaway" is a safe atmosphere where teens come and learn about Jesus in a real life applicable way. 10 minute talks through series to communicate God's Word to the students, then breakaway groups to further discuss and decipher life application to the lesson.

Micro Missions- Each month the students at WCUMC, come together to do something to aid the local community and beyond. Thus far, we helped put on a fun day for physically handicap people and have raised 500 hundred canned goods for a homeless shelter

Mountain Top- Mountain Top has been the annual mission trip for WCUMC. The students and adult leaders drove a couple of hours to an impoverished area of Tennessee where they participated in service projects to aid the community.

The student ministry at WCUMC are focused on being fully devoted to living the the life Jesus called us to live. We do mission trips, outreach events, retreats, day to day activities, and much more. Come and "Be a Part of the Story"

This year has been really busy for all of us here at the student ministry of WCUMC and spring is not any different as the students get ready for the summer. The students have been diligently following our vision for this year, "Found people, find people; Saved people, serve people" and been serving in the local community and telling people about the love of Jesus Christ. Currently we are in the middle of our series titled, "The Legend of Joe Jacobson- the story of Joseph." In this series we are asking, "what would someone in your current situation do if he/she were absolutely 100 % confident God was with them?" Special thanks are in order to Janet Liles, Laura Smith, and Don Fincannon who are serving and equipping the student ministry by being small group leaders, mentors and coordinators.
